Prom Transportation

The most common type of transportation the night of prom is Limos.  This is especially true if you are in a large group or if you don't have your license.  If it is just you and your date and you can afford it, go for it.  A lot of people drive theirs or their parents cars to prom.  Just remember, most people are not even going to remember or notice what you arrived in, so don't stress out about this.

Ask about deals or specials on limos and shop around.

If you are going to rent a limo, start shopping early.  Limos need to be reserved months in advance.  Some have a huge waiting list for prom. 

The average limo rents at a rate of about $60 an hour.  Many service rages also depend on the number of passengers, so be sure to ask about details. 

The new thing in prom transportation, is SUV limos.  These hold larger numbers of people but are move expensive.  A SUV limo can hold from up to 22 people, depending on the size!

Another type of transportation for prom is a limo bus or party bus.  A limo bus can hold between 15-20 people.  A party bus can hold many more people--up to 45 and has all kids of things like a TV, DVD, and other ammenities.
